OPEL MOTOR SPORT
History
The OPEL car is classified among the most "effective" and most "reliable" cars in numerous surveys. The official team of this brand is Opel Motor Sport. The first "SPORT COMPANY" ever established in Turkey is Opel Motor Sporları A.Ş. (OMS). Having emerged after the midst of 90's, this development was actually an innovation that was pioneered by Opel Dealers and OPEL Türkiye Ltd. Inc. By virtue of such emergence, it has inherently enjoyed the opportunity of coexisting simultaneously in various locations and has become well known throughout Turkey.
As a genuine Turkish team, OMS is establisted in 1994 and today among the most powerful teams in the Turkish Automotive Sport. It is a one in one Turkish team, a complete team with its pilots coming from Çorum, Şanlıurfa, Antalya, Sakarya, Aydın, Bursa, İzmir, Istanbul and Ankara. Having carried out very successful achievements up to now since its establishment, Opel Motor Sport (OMS) has eventually been able to act as an initiator to other automotive factories in entering this sport activity.
